Green Producing
Lemonpie is proud to have been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel.
Green filming includes all resource-saving measures that can be taken to produce as sustainable and climate friendly as possible. Green filming isn’t just a future-oriented topic in today’s world, but also a major concern in the Austrian Film Industry. It is therefore no surprise that green producing has established itself as an important aspect of funding projects within the last few years. As part of the incentive system, the Green Filming Bonus can be obtained by productions that follow green guidelines.
Consequently, we as a company have changed the production processes of our series, films and shows, to be as sustainable and green as possible, in order to meet the Austrian Green Producing Guidelines. We attach great importance to changing the working processes of each department and thanks to our very own Green Consultant Jennifer, we were able to raise awareness among filmmakers and our partners for new green solutions. Â Due to the changes that we implemented, we received the official Austrian Ecolabel by the Austrian ministry of climate protection, environment, energy, mobility, innovation and technology.
There is still a long way to go regarding sustainability and CO2 emission reduction, but we do our best, while also pointing out our responsibilities as filmmakers and encouraging everyone in finding creative and sustainable ways to improve filmmaking.
We act out of conviction and want to make a valuable contribution to maintaining a clean environment. For us and our children.
Because Green Producing is not just a niche topic, it’s the future!
